THE INSTITUTIONALIZATION OF CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENTS: THE FAMILY IN FRONT OF THIS REALITY

Abstract

The work will present the research proposal that has been developed in the graduate program in Social work of Unesp-Franca/SP, at the master's level, having as object the provisoriety of the protective measure of institutional reception of children and Adolescents in a municipality in the interior of São Paulo, as well as partial reflections referring to the family theme.  To this end, we will look at the Social issue that permeates the context of vulnerability of the families of the Children and adolescents welcomed, either in institutionalization or in the shutdown, with the challenges of returning to family and community coexistence and the protection Effective Social, as advocated by the doctrine of Integral protection, in particular the Statute of the Child and adolescent (ECA/1990) (BRAZIL, 1990).
