Abstract

The present research aims to carry out a study on the direct exercise of the Protestant Christian vote between the years 2010 and 2020, having as a basis for our discussion the phenomenon that emerged within the Evangelical Church Assembly of God in Pernambuco, the Citizenship Project. We will analyze, initially, and from Halbwachs (2006) and Pollack (1989), the process of construction, erasure and dispute of collective memory, showing how this can be applied to the study of this project, in view of the attempt to erase it. the relationship established between the church and this political-electoral sphere; Next, we will focus on the analysis of promotional material from evangelical candidates who ran for the position of councilors in the State of Pernambuco, in 2012, in this section we focus on the aesthetic conceptions of Bakhtin's speech genres (2003); and, finally, we will think about which elements bring this project closer and further away from what can be understood as a political party Berstein (1998), and as a constitutive and ordering element that guides the exercise of citizenship in the choice of the candidate.

Possui graduação em História pela Universidade Regional do Cariri (2022). Graduando em Letras-Libras (UNIASSELVI). Graduando em Letras Portugues/Espanhol (IFCE). Mestrando em Letras (PPGL - URCA). Membro no Núcleo de Estudos Linguísticos e Literários - NETLLI. Tem experiência na área de História, com ênfase em História Cultural/História Politica. Tem interesse, principalmente, pelos seguintes temas: gêneros do discurso, movimento pentecostal, livro didático, preconceito racial; e Tradição oral popular no Cariri.

EDSON SOARES MARTINS , UNIVERSIDADE REGIONAL DO CARIRI

Possui graduação (1996), mestrado (2001) e doutorado (2010) em Letras pela Universidade Federal da Paraíba (PPGL). Concluiu estágio pós-doutoral junto ao PROLING-UFPB. Atualmente é Professor Associado (Referência O) de Literatura Brasileira, na Universidade Regional do Cariri (URCA) e professor permanente no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Letras, na mesma IES. Tem experiência na área de Literatura, com ênfase em Literatura Brasileira, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: literatura brasileira, poesia, conto oral popular, além de estudar, à luz da contribuição teórica bakhtiniana, a narrativa curta moderna e contemporânea e as formas da estética oral popular. Também manifesta crescente interesse pelas literaturas africanas. Editor-geral de Macabéa - Revista Eletrônica do Netll e Editor-Adjunto de Miguilim - Revista Eletrônica do Netlli.
