TRABALHO COMO PRINCÍPIO EDUCATIVO – UMA PERSPECTIVA DE EMANCIPAÇÃO HUMANA NO PROEJA = WORK AS A PRINCIPLE OF EDUCATION

Resumo

Este artigo discute alguns aspectos teóricos da pesquisa de mestrado que estamos desenvolvendo. Tal pesquisa tem por objetivo desvelar a efetividade do PROEJA – Programa Nacional de Integração da Educação Profissional com a Educação Básica na Modalidade de Educação de Jovens e Adultos. Neste percurso investigativo, de caráter bibliográfico, tecemos algumas reflexões teóricas que podem sustentar nossa pesquisa, iniciando a discussão com uma breve trajetória histórica da educação de jovens e adultos no Brasil até o PROEJA. Em seguida, analisamos a temática do trabalho como princípio educativo na perspectiva de emancipação humana para, então, discutirmos uma possível interlocução desta temática com o PROEJA. A partir desta análise, concluímos que há superficialidade e inconsistências teóricas no que se refere à retórica do documento base do PROEJA. Frente a isso, defendemos a ampliação dessas discussões, bem como de pesquisas que contemplem também a forma de como se materializar este programa na perspectiva dos egressos deste programa.

ABSTRACT: This article discusses some theoretical aspects of the Master thesis we are developing. This research aims to reveal the effectiveness of PROEJA - National Programme for Integration of Professional Education with Basic Education in the Form of Youth and Adults. In this investigative path, we have made some theoretical reflections that can support our research, initiating the discussion with a brief historical background about youth and adults in Brazil until the PROEJA. After, we analyze the theme of the work as an educational principle in the context of human emancipation, and then have a dialogue with the theme of PROEJA. From this analysis, we conclude there are shallow and theoretical inconsistencies about the rethoric of the PROEJA founding document. Given this, we believe it necessary to broaden the discussion and research, covering also the realization of this proposal in relation to graduates of this program.
