FORMAÇÃO DO LICENCIADO EM CIÊNCIAS AGRÍCOLAS: CONHECENDO A GESTÃO E ORGANIZAÇÃO DA EDUCAÇÃO FORMAL NO ESTÁGIO CURRICULAR = FORMATION OF THE LICENSEE IN AGRICULTURAL SCIENCES: GETTING TO KNOW THE MANAGEMENT...

Resumo

O presente artigo tem como principais objetivos caracterizar e descrever uma instituição de ensino formal, tendo como referência o Colégio Agrícola Dom Agostinho Ikas (Codai), que é uma instituição suplementar da Universidade Federal Rural de Pernambuco (UFRPE) e está localizado no município de São Lourenço da Mata, na Região Metropolitana de Recife. Para a realização do trabalho empírico, foi feito um diagnóstico abordando aspectos referentes à gestão e organização administrativa e pedagógica da instituição. Seguindo uma análise de base qualitativa, foram realizadas visitas orientadas ao colégio, onde grupos de discentes do 4º período do curso de Licenciatura em Ciências Agrícolas (L.A.) da UFRPE coletaram dados através de entrevistas ou por meio de observação direta no ambiente escolar. A partir dessa vivência, foi possível compreender melhor a teoria trabalhada em sala de aula, durante o conjunto de disciplinas que compõe o curso de L.A., e comparar, empiricamente, com o conhecimento e práticas construídas em uma instituição de ensino profissional e tecnológico, bem como compreender o processo de gestão e organização de uma unidade educativa formal.

ABSTRACT

The present article has as main aims to characterize and to describe a formal teaching institution, having as reference the school Colégio Agrícola Dom Agostinho Ikas (Codai), which is a supplementary institution from the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco (UFRPE) and is located in the municipality of São Lourenço da Mata, in the metropolitan area of Recife. In order to achieve the empirical work, a diagnosis was made approaching aspects referring to the management and pedagogical and administrative organization of the institution. Following a quality based analysis, guided visits were made to the school, where groups of students from the fourth academic period of the formation in licentiate in Agricultural Sciences (L.A.) from UFRPE collected data through interviews or direct observation in the school environment. From this experience, it was possible to understand better the theory taught in the classroom, during the set of disciplines which are part of the L.A. course and empirically compare to the knowledge and practices that were built in a professional and technological teaching institution, as well as to comprehend the management and organization process at a formal educational unit.
