THE SOCIAL WORK AND EDUCATION: REFLECTIONS ON THE BOOK BRICKS AGAINST WALSS
Abstract
The main objective of this article is to propose reflections on the work of the Social Service in the area of Education based on the contributions in the book "Bricks against walls: critical contributions from the Social Service in Education" published by the Group of Studies and Research on Social Service in the area of Education (GEPESSE) in 2022. The methodological procedure chosen was bibliographical research based on the work cited and other authors who contribute to the understanding of education policy, as well as sharing the struggle for a public, secular, critical and socially referenced education. The results of the theoretical reflection indicate some contributions on the subject and possible guidelines for the professional category in Social Work.
