EFFORT TO UNDERSTAND THE PRODUCTION OF SOCIAL SERVICE KNOWLEDGE ABOUT THE WORK OF SOCIAL WORKERS IN BASIC EDUCATION

Abstract

This article aims to understand the production of knowledge in Social Work on the topic of social workers' work in basic education in schools. We sought to identify which aspects have been privileged in studies published by Social Services on the topic of the work of social workers in basic education. Through a survey of publications in Brazilian national virtual journals listed on the page of the Brazilian Association of Teaching and Research in Social Service – ABEPSS, on the topic of Social Work in basic education schools. With the promulgation of Law nº. 13,935 of 2019, which provides for psychology and social service services in public basic education networks, and with this, the imminent hiring of these professionals to work in or on schools, makes this topic is very current and relevant. This research will be bibliographic and documentary in nature.
