THE PRECARIOUSNESS OF BASIC EDUCATION AND THE ENTRY OF STUDENTS IN SOCIAL SERVICE COURSE AT UFTM: preliminary considerations

Abstract

This paper presents a synthesis of the Scientific Initiation Research Project under development at the Interdisciplinary Research Group to Combat Oppression (PICO), from the Federal University of the Triângulo Mineiro (UFTM), whose theme is related, from the critical Marxian perspective, the refutations of basic education in the training of students in Social Service of UFTM. We aim to understand how the precariousness of basic education makes it difficult or even obstructs the process of training students at a higher level. For this, we will carry out besides the bibliographical research, the field research to listen to students entering the mentioned course from 2014 to deepen the analysis and our assumptions.

Assistente Social graduada pela Universidade de Ribeirão Preto (UNAERP), 2010. Professora Substituta dos cursos de Serviço Social e História da Universidade Federal do Triângulo Mineiro (UFTM). Bolsista CAPES. Pesquisadora do Grupo de Pesquisa Interdisciplinar de Combate às Opressões (PICO), da UFTM.
