SOCIAL SERVICE: THE WORK OF THE SOCIAL ASSISTANT IN THE HOUSING POLICY

Abstract

This article is devoted to the understanding of the development of the work of the social worker in the field of social work in housing, to reach from goal to principle and understand the development of social service as a profession. Next, we sought elucidations about the concept of territory and how its understanding should be appropriate by the public servants and organizations at the time of planning the policies to be adopted, and then discusses the origin and current form of work social and it ends the same with a highlight for the social service in the housing with the purpose of knowing the action of this professional in this modality of intervention, being possible to understand that the presence of the professional of social service becomes necessary for the development of the policy housing.
