THE RESOCIALIZATION OF THE CONTENDER IN THE REALITY OF THE CITY OF BELO HORIZONTE/ MINAS GERAIS

Abstract

This article seeks to analyze in a general way the Brazilian Prison System and its coherence with the principles of the worthy Student of the 8th period of the Social Service course at the Faculdade Novos Horizontesdade Humana and the exercise of fundamental rights that are guaranteed in the Federal Constitution of 1988 and in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. It is also intended to find out how society sees inmates. In this sense, a field research was carried out in the Carcerária Pastoral, as well as a bibliographic research pointing out about the care of the convict and about the discriminatory processes suffered by them.
