QUALITATIVE RESEARCH IN SOCIAL SERVICE: THE RELEVANCE OF ETHICS AND THE SUBJECT

Abstract

The research intends to understand the relevance of
ethics in the construction of a qualitative approach to research in the
area of Social Work and the role of the subject participates. It is
understood that the relevance of studying research ethics is for the
preservation of the subject in the research process, as well as for its
valorization as a protagonist in the qualitative approach. The bibliographical research will be used aiming to base the theoretical
knowledge about the subject. The study will be structured through
three main topics: ethics, thinking concepts, later research ethics in
the area of Social Work. And finally about qualitative research,
highlighting the main aspects of this approach. The result obtained
with the research was the centrality of the subject in the qualitative
research in Social Work.
